Early finish on Fridays, with working hours as follows: Monday to Thursday: 07:40 - 16:25 Friday: 07:40 - 12:10 Responsibilities Assist in the pressings manufacturing process, including the setting of power presses operating progression press tools. Shadow experienced team members and learn the intricacies of machine operation and maintenance. Perform machine minding tasks to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the mandatory use of ear defenders in the work environment. Participate in regular training sessions and appraisals to develop skills and progress within the role. Qualifications No prior experience is required, although a background in engineering or manufacturing would be advantageous. A willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Day-to-Day Begin the day by preparing and setting up power presses for production. Shadow experienced operators to gain hands-on experience and knowledge of the manufacturing process. Monitor machines during operation to ensure optimal performance and address any issues under supervision. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all company protocols. Engage in one-to-one training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
