Deputy Manager Learning Disability & Complex Needs (Fixed Term) Location: Lisburn Salary: £35,412 per annum (pro rata) Contract: Fixed Term (June 2025 June 2026) Hours: 37 hours per week (includes evenings and weekends) A well-established provider of specialist health and social care services is recruiting a Deputy Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for a proactive and experienced leader ready to take on responsibility in a highly supportive, person-centred environment. About the Role Youll be working in a residential setting supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. The service offers 24-hour support in line with the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and staff support. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the creation and delivery of personalised care and support plans Leading and supervising a dedicated care team Overseeing staffing rotas, budgets, and resource planning Maintaining compliance with Domiciliary Care Agencies Regulations (NI) 2021 Promoting a values-led, person-centred care culture Working shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays What Were Looking For Essential Criteria A professional social work qualification and registered on the appropriate part of the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) register, without condition. OR A first level registered nurse on the appropriate part of the Nursing and Midwifery Council register. OR An Allied Health Professional registered with the Health Professions Council, Combined with A minimum of three years work experience in any health or social care setting with people who have significant needs. At least one year of this experience must be in a relevant management capacity in a health and social care setting. OR Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adults Management) Wales and Northern Ireland and be eligible for registration on appointment, Combined with A minimum of four years practice experience in any health and social care setting as above. Experience of managing in a group living facility for people who have learning disabilities and significant associated needs. Working knowledge of the needs of people with learning disabilities. Knowledge and experience of Positive Behaviour Support. Effective communication and use of IT skills.
