Healthcare in the UK is facing unprecedented challenges - we are playing our part in ensuring we can help deliver improved patient outcomes at the lowest possible cost to the NHS.Responsibilities: As a Senior Accountant - Group Reporting, you will collaborate with the Group Reporting Manager to ensure accurate and timely completion of group accounting and reporting tasks, including:Preparation of consolidated IFRS group accounts and UK statutory accounts for subsidiary companies.Managing inter-company reconciliations.Consolidating forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans, along with supplementary group reporting including cashflow and net working capital analysis.Coordinating management reporting packs for the UK and German boards.Handling corporation tax accounting and submissions, including liaison with tax advisors.Coordinating the annual external audit process and ensuring compliance with statutory reporting obligations.Providing training and guidance to the Management Accounts team and supporting with technical finance matters.Acting as a key contact for Group Finance and mentoring the Assistant Reporting Accountant.Requirements: Experience:Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA).Strong experience in group consolidation, technical financial accounting, and reporting.Proven ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.Knowledge and Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Confident, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude.Ability to explain financial results clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.Excellent prioritization and time management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Experience with financial systems, preferably SAP and Cognos Controller.Knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS standards, and corporation tax accounting.Phoenix Medical Supplies are an equal opportunities employer.
