We are seeking a passionate and driven commercial professional to support the growth, adoption, and clinical excellence of our Heart Failure portfolio and especially the CardioMEMs expansion. The Territory Manager is a brand new role in our Heart Failure division who will cover the South Central UK. Ideal location: Oxford, Hanley‑On‑Thames area.
Responsibilities
* Deliver technical, clinical, educational, and commercial support to ensure safe adoption, market growth, and strong customer engagement across implanting centres and referral networks.
* Drive therapy and market development by supporting strategic implanting centres and educating referring physicians on LVADs, short‑term support, and CardioMEMS.
* Develop and deliver Heart Failure education programmes for the UK&I market.
* Manage key accounts, including physicians, KOLs, and procurement teams.
* Provide procedure support in Cath Labs and Operating Theatres.
* Communicate Abbott’s Heart Failure value proposition through coordinated internal and external messaging.
* Collaborate with European colleagues on strategy, best practice, and marketing initiatives.
* Support cross‑divisional activities to maximise opportunities across the portfolio.
* Deliver implant forecasting, market intelligence, and maintain strong referral networks.
This position requires a considerable amount of business travel (approximately 75% of the time).
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent.
* A comprehensive ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.
* Ability to work with others effectively.
* Ability to prepare and present effectively written and verbal communications.
* Thorough familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations and procedures.
* Documented record of delivering strategic marketing information.
* Expert verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and applications, such as Microsoft Office.
* Field sales experience required.
* Clinical experience in a sales environment preferred.
* Professional training/education certification or designation.

Location: United Kingdom – Maidenhead (remote allowed). Standard work shift. Travel: 75% of the time.
