Job Purpose
To provide oversight and support across the bank’s retail branches, ensuring compliance with operational standards, effective reconciliation of key accounts, and smooth functioning of Credit Administration. The role also involves assisting branches with daily queries and conducting regular reviews to maintain service and control standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and support day-to-day operations of the Credit Administration Department.
* Review loan accounts for compliance with sanction terms, interest and fee recovery, security documentation, and renewal schedules.
* Monitor reconciliation of internal (Nostro, Sundry, Suspense) and external (LMS) accounts.
* Ensure the accuracy of credit data and review Credit Admin reports on a sample basis.
* Ensure operational compliance with credit policies across branches.
* Review and support processes for complaints handling, charge returns, and sundry accounts.
* Manage sensitive requests including deceased cases and legal/investigative agency queries.
* Monitor and control unclaimed accounts.
* Conduct quarterly visits to all branches for operational reviews and submit reports to senior management (HBO/ED/HNS).
* Assist in updating and improving SOPs, process manuals, and policies.
* Prepare and submit MI reports to management and branches.
* Carry out additional tasks as delegated by the Head of Branch Operations.
