Description
The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting their Brand in driving sales turnover and market share through consistently remaining consumer focused. They are accountable for achieving this by:
1. Reflecting a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times
2. Maximising sales through selling, providing excellent service, and retail standards
3. Contributing to efficiencies through adhering to store/Brand/Company Procedures and guidelines
4. Understanding daily/weekly targets
5. Ensuring personal awareness of all additional sales avenues such as eventing, Omni and digital channels
6. Keeping up to date with competitor activities and missed opportunities
7. Effectively using social media to leverage opportunities, drive the business, and protect/enhance the Brand image
8. Delivering the Brand Strategy and local plans
9. Planning and implementing local marketing & events initiatives aligned with Retailer activity
10. Ensuring excellence in service delivery, aiming for a zero consumer complaints culture and creating a 'surprise and delight' environment
11. Being an ambassador for the Brand, ensuring Brand values are represented
12. Managing refunds and complaints according to guidelines, consulting with the Area Manager when necessary
13. Using digital tools to stay informed and knowledgeable
14. Implementing consumer recruitment and retention strategies to grow loyalty
15. Developing product knowledge to deliver industry-leading experiences and meet consumer needs
16. Maintaining high standards in product presentation, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing
17. Reviewing retail standards daily and maintaining them
18. Managing deliveries, stock movements, and associated admin within deadlines
19. Ensuring compliance with auditable processes and taking corrective actions where needed
20. Fulfilling information requests accurately and timely
21. Minimising stock loss by following security policies and procedures
22. Creating a safe working environment, adhering to health & safety policies, and achieving audit standards
Commerciality
1. Managing daily replenishment and taking necessary actions
2. Maximising sales using all commercial reports for decision-making
3. Planning and executing visual merchandising layouts according to guidelines and schedules
4. Identifying stock issues and taking corrective measures, informing the Area Manager when necessary
5. Managing promotions and discounts per company guidelines
6. Identifying trends and suggesting improvements for product performance
Qualifications
* Experience in a fast-paced retail or consumer-facing environment

* Commercial awareness and understanding of the industry
