What will you be doing?
We’re looking for a talented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bristol. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of delivering innovative, high-impact projects within the Energy industry, tackling complex engineering challenges and helping to design safe, efficient, and sustainable infrastructure for the future.
Your main responsibilities will be:
* Design and analyse anchorages, foundations and supports for various civil structures within nuclear facilities, including reactor buildings, containment structures, and auxiliary buildings.
* Responsible for the production of structural calculations and supporting documentation.
* Conduct seismic analysis and design.
* Conduct structural assessments and evaluations to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
* Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation detailing design specifications, calculations, and recommendations.
Who are we looking for?
* Candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on structural analysis and design for both Steel and Reinforced concrete structures.
* Experience with anchorages, foundations and supports for critical structures is highly desirable.
* Candidates with prior experience with nuclear safety protocols and regulations is preferred.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural engineering, Nuclear engineering or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations specific to the energy sector.
* Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).
