Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support and enhance a Risk Reporting platform. This role involves translating business requirements into technical specifications, managing delivery through Agile practices, and ensuring strong alignment between business needs and technology solutions. The role requires a high level of autonomy, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage complex requirements within a dynamic delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development and enhancement of risk reporting solutions
* Translate business requirements into clear, structured technical specifications
* Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring effective prioritization
* Define and validate acceptance criteria to ensure high-quality delivery
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, and operations
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
* Ensure adherence to Service Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) practices
* Act as a key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams
* Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement
* Support decision-making through analysis, insights, and strategic thinking
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to team capability development
Skills & Experience
* Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
* Excellent strategic thinking and planning capabilities
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proven expertise in stakeholder management and communication
* Experience in process modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML)
* Ability to define clear and testable acceptance criteria
Technical Knowledge
* Good understanding of web development and hosting environments
* Familiarity with the Service Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC)
* Strong ability to bridge business requirements with technical implementation
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes
* Experience in mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in risk reporting, financial systems, or regulated environments
* Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
* Relevant certifications in Agile or Business Analysis
