The Role
Were looking for Head Chef to lead the all-day dining kitchens of an award-winning country house hotel in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with an accomplished Executive Chef, who will support with your continued career development and potential onward progression.
Leading a team of 20+ Chefs,
Typically working 48-50 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days.
Brasserie style cuisine with international influences.
The Person
Previous experience as a Head Chef within a high-end hotel is desired, however time spent working within fast paced/high volume kitchens would be highly beneficial.
An inspiring leader who will develop, train and help to retain a large brigade of Chefs. The desire to positively promote the company values and work collaboratively with departmental leadership team.
Sound financial awareness Food Costing, GPs, Stock Control, Rotas and Labour. Proficient training in Food Safety, Risk Assessments, Health & Safety and HACCP.
