We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and nurturing Pupil Support Worker to join our team at Torphichen Primary School for the next session.
The successful candidate will work within a forward-thinking team, bringing sound knowledge of child development, and will respond to the individual needs of each child by providing high-quality, caring interactions, and engaging learning and teaching experiences.
Torphichen Primary is situated in a rural location within the village of Torphichen and serves the local community. The school includes a small nursery class and three multi-composite classes.
This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from the start date to register with the SSSC. Applications must be submitted within three months of the start date. If already registered with the SSSC, you will need to add West Lothian Council to your account.
This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check before a formal offer of employment is made by West Lothian Council.
