Environmental Protection Officer
Job description
About the role:
To assist the Senior Environmental Health Officer in providing a ful range of Environmental Protection services in accordance with relevant objectives, policies and procedures. These include contaminated land, air quality, environmental permitting, dealing with pollution incidents and managing the council's closed landfills.
About you:
Have relevant environmental health experience
Ability to work well as part of a team
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Be a good communicator both orally and in writing
Be competent in the use of information technology
Have good interpersonal skills
