Job Title: Print Supervisor Location: Essex Salary: Up to £40,000 Sector: Exhibition Stands The Company Our client is a well-established and growing full-service exhibitions and events company based in Essex. They specialise in delivering high-quality custom modular exhibition stands and are recognised for their hands-on, in-house approach—managing everything from design and build to print and logistics under one roof. Following significant investment in large format and fabric printing, the company is now looking to strengthen its internal print function with the addition of an experienced and proactive Print Supervisor. The Role This is a key hire within a busy and expanding print department. The Senior Print Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day print operations, leading a small team, and ensuring all graphics and materials are produced to an exceptional standard—particularly for exhibition and event environments where precision and deadlines are critical. What You’ll Be Doing Supervise large format print production with a focus on fabric graphics and modular display solutions. Manage print schedules to ensure timely delivery for live event deadlines. Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of print operatives—many of whom are new to the sector. Operate and maintain print machinery, ensuring consistent high quality and minimal downtime. Collaborate closely with the design, build and project teams to coordinate print needs for upcoming installations. Uphold strict quality control and troubleshoot any issues quickly and effectively. Support wider business growth by improving internal print processes and identifying efficiency opportunities. What We’re Looking For Strong experience in large format print production, Experience and a clear understanding of the demands and pace of the exhibition industry—tight deadlines, last-minute changes, and high expectations. Experience working with fabric printers and finishing equipment. Confident managing small teams and delegating effectively under pressure. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, can-do attitude. Comfortable working occasional early/late shifts during peak periods. Desirable Prior exposure to modular exhibition systems Familiarity with colour management, RIP software and print file setup.
