Overview
HR Business Partner - part time at Seasalt. This role is based on a 30 hours per week contract with a hybrid working approach. Location preference is Cornwall with on-site presence at Seasalt offices in Falmouth/Redruth on a fortnightly basis. Flexible location within the South West can be discussed.
Responsibilities
* Drive a proactive approach to the people agenda, identify root causes of people and business issues, and propose solutions.
* Develop and maintain high-functioning relationships with those you support; partner with the Product and Trading teams initially, with exposure to other departments over time.
* Actively coach and develop leaders to improve capability and contribute to the leadership culture.
* Provide expert and independent support to managers on complex people and organisational challenges.
* Support culture, values, and employee engagement within teams.
* Encourage a culture of continuous feedback; provide Employee Relations advice and support performance management processes, investigations, disciplinary hearings, etc.
* Support wellbeing initiatives and influence practical improvements for wellbeing and inclusion.
* Lead projects, change, and consultation plans to implement critical business changes in line with Seasalt values.
* Advocate for change and support the business through transformation.
* Enhance management confidence and capabilities through coaching and early resolution of people-related issues; build management capability.
* Work with stakeholders to develop goal-oriented and people-centric development plans.
* Lead and manage HR projects as required and analyse employee data, metrics, and trends to inform leadership decisions and targeted initiatives.
What you’ll bring
* Experienced HR professional with CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
* Strong understanding of HR disciplines and emerging trends; commercial sector experience, ideally including Retail.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to build senior-level relationships and challenge effectively.
* Change management and organisation development experience.
* Curiosity to understand ‘why’ and develop best-fit solutions; ability to translate issues into people-based solutions.
* Highly credible; capable of influencing, consulting, and building consensus.
* Experience driving Employee Engagement; resilience and adaptability; strong organisational and planning skills with attention to detail.
