An exciting opportunity has opened in a Barnsley secondary school for a confident and enthusiastic QTS-qualified D&T Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of designers, makers, and problem-solvers.
About the Role
You’ll be delivering engaging, practical and theory-based lessons across KS3 & KS4, with a strong focus on Resistant Materials up to GCSE level. You’ll bring the workshop to life with innovative projects, structured teaching, and amitment to helping every student grow in confidence and skill.
️ What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
1. QTS – essential
2. Solid experience teaching D&T: Resistant Materials
3. Confidence in delivering lessons up to GCSE standard
4. The ability to create a safe, inspiring and well‑managed workshop environment
5. Availability to start immediately
