Administrator - Finance Team
Location: Leicester (Hybrid Working - 2 days from home)
Salary: £23,000 - £26,000
Our client is a well-established firm of Independent Financial Planners, offering specialist financial, taxation, and independent investment advice to both individual clients and businesses in the UK and internationally.
An opportunity has arisen to join the team under the guidance of the Head of Financial Administration.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain understanding of current pension legislation.
2. Ensure compliance with HMRC, legislative, and internal procedures.
3. Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, Anti Money Laundering requirements, and TCF.
4. Be aware of and comply with Data Protection issues.
5. Use Property Administration Management Database.
6. Monitor and chase rental payments to ensure prompt payment.
7. Monitor rental reviews and lease renewals.
8. Liaise with clients and professional connections regarding rental queries.
9. Collate and maintain legitimate VAT invoices and records.
10. Complete quarterly VAT returns and make payments to HMRC.
11. Handle VAT queries with clients and professionals.
12. Manage monthly tax reclaim submissions on personal contributions.
13. Maintain tax reclaim accounts and allocate funds to client accounts.
14. Liaise regarding tax reclaim queries.
15. Operate payroll system, process net pensions, issue payslips, and handle PAYE tax and year-end returns.
16. Maintain records of fee basis and monitor funding for payments, producing reminders when necessary.
17. Assist with making payments to IFAs.
18. Maintain and renew block insurance policies and keep records on insured properties.
19. Liaise regarding insurance queries.
Candidates are not required to have specific finance experience, as comprehensive training will be provided.
