Planner Position Overview
1. Develop and manage project programmes for concrete frames, groundworks, basements, and associated works.
2. Work closely with estimators and project teams to develop methodologies and sequencing of works.
3. Liaise with clients, presenting planning strategies and programme submissions.
4. Provide planning input for tendering and project delivery.
5. Use Asta Powerproject to develop and manage project schedules (training can be provided for candidates moving into Pre-Con).
6. Work from the Borehamwood office (flexible arrangements available for the right candidate).
7. Collaborate with the Pre-Construction Manager and senior leadership team to refine project planning and delivery.
Position Requirements
1. Experience in construction planning or project/contracts management within concrete frames and groundworks.
2. Knowledge of pre-construction planning and sequencing.
3. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to discuss methodologies with clients and directors.
4. IT literate with experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
5. Experience with Asta Powerproject is highly desirable but not essential (training can be provided).
6. Ability to work in an office-based role with a collaborative team environment.
