Service Manager Vacancy!!!
Our client is a main dealership in Stoke On Trent who are looking to recruit an experienced and successful Service Manager to run their service department.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To supervise the Service team and develop and train team members to achieve the highest possible levels of performance.
2. To monitor workshop loading and ensure continuity.
3. To ensure that customers and their vehicles are received in a friendly and professional manner, discuss and confirm their requirements and take responsibility for the vehicle during its time at the Retailer.
4. To ensure that collection and delivery drivers operate to schedule and meet customer and workshop expectations.
5. To ensure that repair orders are raised and processed according to the established guidelines and that work is completed to schedule.
6. To ensure that invoicing is accurate and completed on time.
7. To ensure that job extensions are properly authorized and processed.
8. To keep customers fully and regularly informed of changes to costs and expected completion times/dates.
9. To oversee sub-contracted repairs and ensure the quality of such.
10. To ensure that the authorization of warranty and goodwill is given strictly according to the manufacturer’s program.
11. To monitor and manage the attendance and timekeeping of team members.
12. The successful candidate will have experience in an aftersales role within the motor trade; have strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and good organizational skills. Kerridge knowledge would be advantageous.
13. Supervisory experience in an After Sales environment is vital and it is essential that candidates have experience working as a Service Team Manager.
Salary: £35k basic with £45k OTE
