The Role: Managing and developing team members, including reviewing their work Hands-on preparation and review of personal tax client work Working closely with the Director on tax planning projects and technical assignments Building and maintaining strong client relationships as a trusted adviser Identifying and advising on tax planning opportunities Contributing commercially to the continued growth of the practice, including business development and networking Role Requirements: Previous Personal Tax or Mixed Tax experience within a practice environment is essential Up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and guidance Strong interpersonal skills with a people-focused approach Highly organised, confident, and diligent, with a commitment to deadlines Ideal Candidate Profile: CTA qualified preferred (or qualified by experience) Proven experience delivering high-quality tax work within budget Strong technical tax knowledge Experience working within a tax-focused environment Self-motivated and capable of working independently Knowledge of expatriate tax is advantageous Keen to contribute to the overall success and growth of the firm What's on Offer: Competitive xxuwjjq salary of £47,000 – £54,000 FTE 25 days' annual leave (FTE) plus bank holidays Paid professional membership and CPD Hybrid and flexible working (typically 2 days per week in the Cheltenham office) Company pension Flexitime and home working Hours: Ideally 3–4 days per week (22.5–30 hours) Permanent, part-time position This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing firm at an exciting stage of its journey, offering flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact.
