About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication of required components to specification from technical drawings. You will work with a variety of metals, including mild and stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper. You will mainly work out of the workshop, but on some occasions you may need to work from site when required. In addition, you will be responsible for metal cutting and shaping, followed by welding and soldering of metal parts, and for the finishing and forming of metals as and when required. You will also ensure accurate technical documentation of works and projects.

Qualifications
* Background working within sheet metal
* Previous practical experience in both MIG and TIG welding
* Prior knowledge/the ability to read technical drawings
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously and be self‑motivated
* Full, valid UK driver’s licence
