Omega are supporting a leading Fire and Security business in their search for an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. This is a key role focused on managing enquiries, surveying sites, and producing compliant, accurate designs and quotations for fire and security systems.
Key Responsibilities – Estimator
1. Manage and respond to incoming enquiries from both new and existing clients, ensuring all requests for quotations are handled accurately, professionally, and within agreed timescales.
2. Engage directly with clients to understand their operational, compliance, and budgetary requirements, providing informed advice on appropriate fire and security system solutions.
3. Conduct comprehensive site surveys, assessing building layouts, risks, access requirements, and existing systems to gather all necessary information for accurate system design and costing.
4. Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates, including materials, labour, equipment, subcontractor costs, and any associated project expenses.
