Wednesbury Oak Academy are seeking to appoint a highly dedicated, friendly and efficient Sports Coach to join our team. Experience preferred but not essential as training will be given. The successful candidate will have a relevant National Governing Body Coaching Qualification to a minimum of level 2 or equivalent and GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above or equivalent. They will also have experience of working with children. Main responsibilities – the care and welfare of the pupil to have contact and form links with parents to liaise with the PE Lead and class teachers the post holder will be expected to observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties and ensure that instructions specified are adhered to have proven ability to be able to converse positively be able to adopt a flexible approach to the post have a broad knowledge of Equal Opportunities We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
