Overview:
You will play a vital part in the securing of customer orders and supporting the business in achieving sales targets.
Ensuring that from the moment customer orders are received, the correct procedures are followed so that every aspect of their order is dispatched and received within the requested time frame.
Raising orders, carrying out stock checks, and organising dispatch of goods, this is a fast-paced role that must meet tight deadlines whilst ensuring accurate is always maintained.
Specific Responsibilities:
· Raising orders on receipt of customer orders and sending confirmation notices.
· Organising delivery with appropriate hauliers and ensuring deliveries are processed correctly and efficiently.
· Preparing dispatch paperwork for warehouse team in a timely manner, ensuring customer delivery dates are met.
· Placing insulation and bespoke orders with 3rd party suppliers, ensuring deliveries are confirmed to correct customer sites.
· Processing of customer returns following correct procedures
· Liaising with Finance to check customer account status and credit limits
· Create proforma invoices for non-credit account customers
· Monitoring UK Orders inbox with colleagues to ensure that all requests are actioned appropriately and dealt with in a timely manner.
· Carrying out end of day tasks for daily closing.
· Answering telephone calls and dealing with customer enquiries to a high level of customer service with an accommodating attitude.
· Build a strong rapport with new and existing customers daily to aid the "friendly and helpful" business culture.
· Update various activity logs within the department.
· Supporting the technical team with customer warranties/guarantees.
· Working towards creating efficiencies within the department.
· Acting as brand ambassadors for DANOSA UK in all aspects of your day.
Essential Skills / Experience:
· Experience of order management system, ideally Oracle
· The ability to remain calm under pressure
· Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
· Highly organised to meet required deadlines
· Ability to create positive working relationship with colleagues and customers
· Skilled in working with accuracy and with attention to details
· Previous experience in a customer service role
· Able to follow processes and raise awareness of improvements
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Professional and can-do attitude
· Competent user of Microsoft Office 365
Desirable Skills / Experience:
· Experience with ORACLE
· Relevant experience within construction or manufacturing
· Previous experience in a customer service/sales administration role
· Logistics experience (ADR and non-ADR)

Working arrangement: Office based role.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30am - 4:30pm (1 hour for lunch)
