Were looking for a skilled CNC Router Programmer/Operator to join one of our prestigious clients in Castle Donington!
In this role, youll set up, operate, and programme CNC routers to produce high-precision components. Youll work with a variety of materials and be trusted to deliver fine, intricate work with attention to detail. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!
What youll be doing
* Set up, programme, and operate CNC routers to produce precise components
* Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models (metric & imperial)
* Select tools, speeds, feeds, and cutting paths for optimum results
* Monitor production, perform inspections, and ensure quality standards
* Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments as needed
* Minimise waste by planning and reusing material offcuts
* Collaborate with the team to complete jobs efficiently and safely
Hours
Monday-Thursday 7am-3pm (flexible)
Friday 7am-1pm
Pay
£27,584.96 per annum
Skills/Experience Required
* Read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and CAD models
* Operate CNC machines and use CAM software (e.g., eDrawings, PC CAM Plus)
* Work to tight tolerances with precision and attention to detail
* Time-Served Engineering Apprenticeship or HNC/HND equivalent
