NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
This is a part‑time post (30) per week working 08:30–14:30 Monday‑Friday. Please note salary is pro‑rata for part‑time hours.
The post holder will work as part of the Community Treatment and Care Service within East Dunbartonshire HSCP to support implementation of the Primary Care Improvement Plan. This will mainly involve delivering care to patients requiring phlebotomy, blood pressure, height and weight measurements, with future role expansion in line with service requirements.
The post holder will be based within treatment rooms/GP surgeries throughout East Dunbartonshire with the potential to carry out domiciliary visits if needed.
Minimum Requirements
* SVQ Level 3 Healthcare or equivalent experience
* Phlebotomy experience preferable
* Ability to work both alone and as part of a team
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* IT skills
* Car driver
