Main Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive patient consultations encompassing history gathering, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and ongoing care review
* Apply advanced clinical judgement to ensure safe and effective decision-making, utilising expert assessment skills to support patients within a primary care setting
* Engage as an integral member of the general practice team, contributing to the seamless delivery of patient services whilst providing nursing leadership and supporting adherence to practice protocols where required
Requirements
* Previous experience working within a primary care environment is essential
* Must hold current NMC registration and either hold or be actively working towards an independent non-medical prescribing qualification
* A qualification in minor illness and injury is required, along with a demonstrated ability to uphold and monitor patient care standards
* Candidates qualified to Level 7 (MSc) in Advanced Clinical Practice are strongly preferred, however applications are also welcome from those who hold equivalent accreditation or are currently enrolled on an MSc pathway towards ACP status
