Supply Desk are supporting a popular and Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Chatham, Medway assisting them with their daily cover and long-term teaching vacancies. With a staff member in the Drama and Performing Arts department going on maternity leave, the school are seeking a reliable, adaptable, and engaging teacher to deliver Drama lessons across the key stages — with occasional general cover required too.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and creative Drama lessons with strong behaviour management
* Maintain a positive learning environment that motivates students to participate and achieve
* Adapt to the school’s needs by occasionally providing general cover across key stages
* Work collaboratively with the school to support student engagement and learning
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Drama or Performing Arts at the secondary level
* Adaptability, enthusiasm, and strong classroom management skills
* Availability for short-term and/or long-term assignments
* Up-to-date DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
