Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 w/ Van and Fuel Card

Daniel Owen are recruiting a Fire and Security Operative to join a leading Social Housing Contractor in their Fire and Security team, based in Rochford.
You will form part of a dedicated team responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and installation on life safety and security systems such as Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, CCTV, warden call and door access, ensuring the properties are safe and compliant.
Fire and Security Operative Role:
1. Carrying out the servicing, remedial works and installation of fire alarms, extinguishers and security systems, including warden call
2. Maintaining systems including fire alarms, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, fire shutters and curtains to ensure safe and compliant properties
3. Resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
4. Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed
Fire and Security Operative Requirements:
5. 18th Edition
6. Level 3 Installation Minimum
7. FIA (Preferred)
8. FIA industry standard qualifications, Electrical 18th Edition wiring regulations, Safe Isolation, Small Works Certificate, currently undertaking the qualifications or prepared to undertake these qualifications with the support of my Client.
9. Experience of undertaking a similar role, working in a fire and security environment
10. Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
11. Knowledge of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
12. Excellent customer service and communication skills
13. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
