We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join our team in our Winchester office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our conveyancing department, ensuring that all transactions are processed smoothly and efficiently. This position requires strong organisational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Duties
* Assist conveyancers in preparing and processing legal documents related to property transactions.
* Conduct property searches and gather relevant information to support conveyancing processes.
* Maintain accurate records and files for all transactions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
* Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather necessary information.
* Manage incoming correspondence, including emails and phone calls, responding promptly to client inquiries.
* Organise appointments and meetings for the conveyancing team, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared in advance.
* Support the team with administrative tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.
* Providing front office support wen required.
Requirements
* Proven administrative experience, preferably within a legal or conveyancing environment.
* Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret legal documents and information accurately.
* Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and empathy when dealing with clients.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
* Proficiency in using office software applications and case management systems is desirable.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn about conveyancing processes.
