As the company continues to expand, this newly created role offers the chance to join a supportive and collaborative finance team, where you’ll gain exposure across a broad range of accounting tasks. This position offers two days working from home per week. Due to the rural office location, access to your own transport will be essential.
What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
Bank reconciliations
Managing email inboxes
Sending supplier invoices to Xero
Posting supplier invoices in Xero and sending for approval
Checking supplier statements to Xero
Dealing with supplier and bank rec queries
Employee expenses administration
Posting sales invoices
Other ad hoc tasks
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
Some finance/accounting experience within a commercial business
Experience of finance accounting package (Sage 50 accounts is preferred but not essential)
Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate data is essential
A friendly and positive personality with excellent communication and team-working skills is also essential, with the ability to be proactive and problem solve
As the business is growing and has multiple revenue streams, the ability to work under pressure and adapt is essential
