You will be working within a small team, and the position will involve supporting the progress of new contracts from design to procurement of material

Our client is a market-leading company in a niche sector who have been established for over 60 years, in the supply, manufacture, design, installation, and service of engineering equipment. They are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join their team as a CAD & Project Coordinator.

The role of CAD & Project Coordinator is a great opportunity for someone with AutoCAD experience. You will be working within a small team, and the position will involve supporting the progress of new contracts from design to procurement of materials.

Duties for the CAD & Project Coordinator will include:

1. Generate drawings using 2D AutoCAD
2. Produce part lists
3. Support with various projects and contracts
4. Document and prepare O&M manuals
5. Procurement of materials on a competitive price basis
6. Prepare quotes within deadlines
7. Feedback to the manager regarding market trends and customer requirements
8. Build rapport with customers to assist with their enquiries
9. The CAD/Project Coordinator will also complete site visits as and when required
10. Communication at various levels

It would be good to see candidates for the CAD & Project Coordinator role with the following:

11. Must have experience working in a similar role
12. AutoCAD experience is essential – be able to generate 2D drawings
13. Confident in procuring materials
14. A good multitasker
15. Able to work within a demanding role
16. A professional and personable approach to workloads
17. A driving licence is essential

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Salary: £26,000 – £27,500 Per Annum

Benefits:

18. 30 holidays, including BH, rising to 33 after 1 year of service, and the beginning of the next calendar year
19. Auto-enrolment pension. Initial 5% employee contribution after 3 years’ service, the company will fund the employee contribution
20. After a qualifying period, you will be entitled to private health care (taxable), critical illness cover, and death in service cover
21. Annual business performance-related bonus (non-contractual)
22. Opportunity for progression and training
23. Flexibility to work contracted hours over 4 days – subject to manager’s discretion
