Personal Assistant / Support Worker (Female) Hours: 14.25 hrs Shifts: Mon – Fri (3 -5 days per week) Earliest start: 1.00PM / Latest finish: 6.00PM To be discussed at interview ROP: £13.45 per hour Details Personal Assistant / Support Worker (female) required to support a young woman in her own home. She lives with a physical disability and often uses a wheelchair. Duties You will provide support with personal care, assist with medication, cooking and meal preparation. Personal care support will include being present when the employer is showering in case of falls, assisting with hair washing, dressing, occasional application of creams and assistant with medical aids. Hours may vary however will mainly be worked Mon – Fri (3 – 5 days per week). Earliest start will normally by around 1pm and latest finish 6pm (although occasionally a start of as early as 8am may be required if the employer has an appointment to attend) Experience / Qualifications Required Experience of supporting adults with physical disabilities/ support work is preferred. This position is subject to a 6 month probationary period.
