Responsibilities As a PMO Analyst, you will: Governance & Support : Maintain robust governance across a portfolio of data projects, ensuring compliance with established standards. Project Management Tools : Manage the WAVE project management tool for updates on project status, milestones, risks, issues, financial tracking, and KPIs. Reporting & Insights : Provide insights into project performance using tools like Power BI, Excel, and JIRA, and prepare reporting packs for steering committees and risk forums. Financial & Resource Management : Assist in budget tracking, forecasting, and capacity planning to ensure optimal resource allocation. Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, the Transformation Office, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency. Workshops & Continuous Improvement : Facilitate workshops and retrospectives to promote best practices and continuous improvement. Risk & Quality Management : Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies while ensuring quality standards are consistently met. Knowledge Sharing : Develop knowledge management practices to enhance future project delivery. Qualifications To excel in this role, you should have: Proven experience as a PMO Analyst, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and JIRA. Familiarity with insurance data domains, including underwriting, claims, pricing, and regulatory reporting. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. The ability to prioritize competing demands and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt language and terminology to suit different stakeholders. Day-to-Day Your typical day will involve: Updating and maintaining project management tools to reflect the latest project statuses. Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. Preparing detailed reports and insights for senior leadership and steering committees. Monitoring budgets and resource allocation to identify potential challenges. Facilitating workshops and meetings to drive alignment and continuous improvement. Ensuring compliance with governance standards and managing risks across the project portfolio.
