Please note: This role sits within a construction / building products environment, so experience in a product-led, manufacturing, construction or related B2B sector would be highly beneficial. If your background is solely within SaaS or software, this role may not be the right fit.
We’re working with a well-established B2B business operating within the construction and building products sector, looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to take ownership of its digital function and drive measurable growth across key online channels.
This is a role for someone who understands how digital translates into commercial performance within a product-led environment. Someone who has operated in businesses where digital supports longer sales cycles, distributor networks or trade audiences, not just direct online conversion.
You’ll have the autonomy to shape strategy, the backing to invest in the right areas, and the opportunity to build on solid foundations to drive the next phase of growth.
The Role
You’ll own how the business shows up digitally, and more importantly, how that drives demand, revenue and customer engagement.
* Develop and deliver a digital strategy aligned to commercial growth targets
* Own website performance, customer journeys and conversion optimisation
* Lead performance across key channels including paid search, paid social and SEO, working with specialist partners where needed
* Use data, analytics and attribution insights to continuously optimise performance
* Partner closely with sales and product teams to ensure digital activity supports pipeline and revenue goals
* Manage external agencies and digital partners, including budget ownership and performance accountability
What we’re looking for
* Experience operating in a commercially driven digital or ecommerce environment (B2B or B2B2C)
* A strong understanding of performance marketing and how channels contribute to revenue, not just traffic
* Comfortable working with data, attribution and analytics to guide decisions and demonstrate impact
* Experience scaling digital channels or driving measurable growth over time
* Confident managing agencies and holding partners accountable to performance outcomes
* Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery when needed
Why apply?
This is a role with genuine ownership and impact. You won’t be inheriting a “keep the lights on” function. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how digital contributes to growth, with the autonomy to make decisions and the backing to invest where it matters.
It’s well-suited to someone who’s used to being measured on outcomes and wants a role where that level of thinking is valued.
Location
This role follows a hybrid working pattern, with 4 days per week in the Cambridgeshire office and 1 day working from home. You’ll need to be able to drive, with the role commutable from Cambridge, Ely, Newmarket, Royston, Haverhill, St Neots, Huntingdon, Saffron Walden and surrounding areas across Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Essex.
Please include your current or preferred location, salary expectations, and notice period when applying. CVs in Microsoft Word format are preferred (avoid textboxes or images to ensure accurate matching).
We are committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion, actively promoting diversity across all minority groups to create workplaces where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered.
