We are seeking a Credit Controller for a 12-month contract based in Derby, on behalf of our globally respected client who develops cutting-edge technologies to deliver clean, safe, and competitive solutions for the planet's vital power needs.
Job Description - The Role
As a Credit Controller, you will manage the cash collection process, maintain customer relationships, resolve disputes, and ensure accurate financial records to support the business's financial health. You will handle collections and recovery processes for high-value, complex accounts with significant outstanding debts.
Responsibilities
* Manage the cash collection process, maintain customer relationships, resolve disputes, and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
* Communicate with customers to confirm invoice receipt and resolve payment disputes.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment commitments in the ERP system.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including Commercial, Aftermarket, and Logistics, to facilitate issue resolution.
* Support debt management meetings and contribute to process improvements.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in Credit Management.
* Proven experience with ERP Accounts Receivable systems.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Flexibility and adaptability to a changing environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
* Good numerical skills.
* Proven team player with a customer-focused attitude.
* Good IT literacy, particularly in Excel.
* A mindset geared towards process improvement.
