We deliver projects that respond to the needs of the people of our community. Using the power of the Saints badge and working together, we engage those who feel the impact of inequalities the most, helping them to achieve positive, sustainable outcomes for themselves. Within this role, you will lead our SO14 Active Project, taking an area-based approach to improving the physical activity levels of adults in the SO14 area. What will you be doing? You will lead the coordination and delivery of the project, keeping to the delivery plan, budget, project KPIs and outcomes while working in collaboration with Football Foundation, Sport England and other key stakeholders, providing progress updates when required. A key aspect of this role will be to facilitate and manage relationships with local programme stakeholders (consortium members and wider programme partners) whilst developing new local relationships with community groups, organisations and participants. You will act as the main point of contact for the programme evaluation and data collection partners and be fully engaged with the community to learn and share best practices. You will coordinate and support the community engagement in the Newtown and Nicholstown area, ensuring the delivery plan and approach are informed by the insight and learning and allowing the local community to take ownership of these. You take a proactive and positive approach and enjoy learning and skill sharing. Essential Skills and Experience: Good level of understand of the SO14 area and the key community groups within it. Experience of place-based working. Experience of developing and managing local partnerships. Excellent communication and organisation skills.
