The Staff Immigration Team supports international staff recruitment, providing expert visa and immigration advice to new and existing staff. This role works predominantly with the Staff Immigration Team, and will join the Paediatrics Team once a week. There is also the opportunity for hybrid working. About the Role Key responsibilities of the Immigration Advisor include:
8. issuing certificates of sponsorship for Skilled Worker and Temporary Worker (GAE) visas under the Home Office points-based system
9. providing professional support to visa holders with visa applications for Skilled Worker, Temporary Worker (GAE), Global Talent and ILR.
10. providing first class advice and guidance to the Department of Paediatrics on all aspects immigration and compliance including sponsoring visa holders, managing compliance, right to work checks, and invitations for Academic and Business visitors.
About You
11. You will have previous experience of visa casework and knowledge of the Home Office’s Sponsorship Management System.
12. You will have good analytical skills and sound judgement.
13. Strong attention to detail is essential along with clear written and oral communication skills.
14. A commitment to providing excellent customer service and ensuring visa holders have a positive experience is also essential.
15. Training can be provided but the role does require some immigration experience.
