HGV Class 1 Driver - afternoons (1600 starts)
Full & Part Time / Semi-Retired - Bradford BD5
The Best Connection are recruiting Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers for a friendly, well-known retail client based in Bradford (BD5).
We can accommodate full-time, part-time, or semi-retired driving options.
Role Overview:
* Afternoon/evening trunk routes
* Handling product on cages or totes - driver's only responsibility is moving cages/totes to the back of the trailer; store staff unload the rest
* Must be confident in reversing and manoeuvring
Shift Patterns Available:
* Tuesday to Saturday
* Sunday to Thursday
* Friday to Monday
* All breaks are PAID
* We welcome part-time drivers for ad hoc shifts - perfect if you want 1 or 2 days per week.
* Pay Rates (plus holiday pay accrual):
* Afternoon Shifts (Mon-Sun): £19.72/hr, £29.57/hr after 8 hours and 6th shift
* Bank Holiday Day: £39.44/hr
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence
* In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card
* No more than 6 licence points (no major endorsements)
* Able to pass a driving assessment including reversing and manoeuvring
