This is an excellent opportunity for a support worker to work alongside a young man in his 20s who has complex needs due to an acquired brain injury. The role involves providing comprehensive care and support to ensure the client's independence and well-being.
They will be responsible for supporting and engaging with the client's personalized routines, completing daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, and collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Our client is a young man in his 20s who due to an acquired brain injury has complex needs, including visual, cognitive and speech impairment along with some mobility issues. He lives at home with his parents, older brother and the family cat, he enjoys going to the gym, gaming, playing the guitar and reading.
Due to the client's support needs the successful candidate can be either male or female, will have some experience working with complex needs and possess the softer skills of being a clear communicator with the motivation and ability to engage the client to build a solid, supporting relationship.
42 per hour
Hours: 30 per week over five days (Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 15:00)

Providing emotional support and companionship.
Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
A genuine passion for working with people and providing care.
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
To be able to deal with challenging behaviours.
