We are looking to welcome an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist, with a keen interest in mental health, into our team. The South West Thrive Welcome Team is based at Cambridge Street House in Edinburgh and serves a diverse client group aged between 18-64.
The team is Multi-disciplinary and multi agency. Colleagues include Nurses, Social Work and Third sector organisations, with links to psychology and Psychiatry. The OT role addresses an individual’s occupational needs, with the aim of improving their quality of life and aiding their recovery. This varies between different individuals, resulting in an interesting and rewarding role.
We are keen for you to contribute to the development of our service and offer various development opportunities – including Decider Skills training, supporting students, participating in audits, supervision and group work.
We are looking to hear from HCPC registered Occupational Therapists from a range of backgrounds and are open to considering individuals with experience working in physical settings. You would need to travel within the locality.
