Overview
Nurse Manager – Crisis Services – Highlands Harbor & The Anchor at Highlands Community Services (HCS). Highlands Harbor is a crisis stabilization program that provides an alternative to hospitalization. Highlands Harbor offers an overnight, non-hospital setting that focuses on individualized care for those experiencing psychiatric/substance use crisis including detox. This program has a capacity of a 12-bed unit in a newly renovated building. The Anchor is a 24/7 facility-based crisis center for those experiencing a psychiatric/substance related mental health crisis. The center serves as an alternative to hospitalization and provides a safe space with open recliners or individual calm rooms for undergoing severe impairment of functioning because of a precipitating situation or personal distress—in which the crisis is expected to be resolved within 23 hours. Responsibilities
* Assist in managing the Crisis Services nursing staff to ensure efficiency in operations and quality of services.
* Supervise nursing staff and coordinate the medical providers’, nurses’ and employees’ schedules to ensure adequate coverage and support.
* Serve as liaison between pharmacy and laboratory services, and nursing staff.
* Manage staffing budgets, operational efficiency, and resource allocation.

* Status: Full-time, Exempt
* Shift: Day Shift: Monday - Friday
* Compensation: $85,000 – Commensurate with education/experience. $3,000 Sign-On Bonus
Education & Experience Requirements
* Education: Current/Active license in the State of Virginia as a Registered Nurse. BSN preferred.
* Experience: Five (5) years’ experience with children & youth and/or adults in a Psychiatric Setting and Five (5) years’ experience managing nurses and/or other medical staff.
