About the Role
As a Plater / Fabricator, youll be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, preparing steel plates and sections, and ensuring work is completed to exact specifications. Youll work closely with the welding team to deliver high-quality, precision fabrications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret engineering and fabrication drawings accurately.
* Cut, prepare, and assemble steel plates and sections to specification.
* Carry out plating operations in line with work instructions.
* Pass completed assemblies to welders for final build.
* Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.
This is afull-time, permanent opportunity(following a successful temp-to-perm period) offering a competitive pay rate, overtime enhancements, and the chance to work on prestigious, varied projects.

What Were Looking For
* Time-served with a recognised qualification or apprenticeship in fabrication.
* Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings.
* Competent in operating fabrication and cutting equipment.
* Proven attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
* A problem-solver with sound decision-making skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ideally, 45 years experience in a fabrication workshop environment.
