What the Job Involves As a Forensic Social Worker and AMHP, you will deliver a robust social work service, conducting Mental Health Act Assessments on behalf of Hillingdon Council. Your role involves working with mentally disordered offenders with complex needs, assessing social care needs, developing support plans, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. You will offer expert advice, provide professional supervision to Social Workers, and support them in caseload management. The job also requires you to engage in statutory assessments, manage a diverse caseload, and collaborate with multi-agency partners to offer valued support to individuals in need. You will actively contribute to service planning, financial management, and service improvement in line with corporate guidelines.
