The Role
Clinical Pharmacist required to join Neurodevelopmental Service. Prescribing experience essential and neurodevelopmental experience beneficial to the role.
To provide a safe and effective patient focused specialist clinical pharmacy service to a specified patient group(s) supporting medicines governance and quality improvement activities within specialist area(s) to ensure safe, effective and patient-centred systems in place.

What we'll need you to bring
Masters of Pharmacy Degree
Registered member of General Pharmaceutical Council
Independent prescribing qualification or must work towards
Evidence of postgraduate training and professional development in clinical pharmacy practice e.g. Post Registration Foundation Framework/ 1st year clinical diploma
Relevant post registration experience in clinical pharmacy.
Ability to effectively monitor patients therapeutic regimens in order to ensure effectiveness and reduce toxicity
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, in a pharmacy and multi-disciplinary environment.
Commitment to revalidation as per directions of General Pharmaceutical Council
Good verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivation
Participation in weekends and public holiday service
Participation in pharmacy emergency duty service
Willingness to contribute to the general working of the pharmacy department
Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
It would be great if you also have
Demonstrable experience in providing a clinical pharmacy service to a defined patient group
Experience in patient information/education
Experience in supervising staff
Clinical pharmacy/care planning knowledge and understanding
Ability to prioritise and organise workload
