A welcoming primary school in Tooting is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover contract. This is a lovely opportunity to step into a well-supported Early Years setting where curiosity, creativity, and confidence are encouraged from day one.
You’ll be leading a class in the Early Years Foundation Stage, creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
What the role involves
* Planning and delivering engaging EYFS lessons and activities
* Creating a warm, inclusive classroom where children can thrive
* Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and early learning development
* Working closely with support staff and the wider Early Years team
* Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
What we’re looking for
* UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching in Early Years / EYFS
* A nurturing and creative approach to teaching
* Strong classroom organisation and communication skills
