💼 The Role:
We’re looking for a hardworking, proactive Team Leader to coach and support our South Independent Lives team in delivering meaningful social care within individuals' homes and out in the community. This role requires someone who can think on their feet, solve day-to-day challenges independently, and take ownership of operational decisions without direct Service Manager support.
You’ll be the vital link between team members and management—driving quality, culture, and consistency while ensuring our customers live the lives they choose.

About The Role
🧠What You’ll Do:
* Support the care coordinator around the Rota to ensure consistent, person-centred care.
* Monitor and record staff absences using the Sickness Sheet.
* Support the recruitment process, including interviews and onboarding.
* Mentor new team members, ensuring they feel supported and confident in their roles.
* Audit running records and other documentation to maintain compliance and quality standards.
* Conduct live supervisions and regular supervisions with team members.
* Complete Return to Work interviews following staff absences.
* Lead and participate in team meetings, promoting open communication and collaboration.
* Review and manage incident reports, ensuring actions and learning are followed up effectively.
* 50/50 split of time between the office and the community.
✅ What You’ll Need:
* Experience in home care, supported living, or community care.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* A passion for supporting people to live independently.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Confident in managing rotas, staff performance, and service quality.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle essential.
* Level 3 in social care or evidence of equal experience
