Overview
Support Worker roles £12.60 to £12.80 dependent on experience. Full time, part time and night shifts available. Areas currently recruiting: Lydstep, Pembroke Dock, Saundersfoot & Haverfordwest. Orbis Education and Care is a leading organisation dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to children and adults with complex needs associated with autism. We proudly offer six residences across Pembrokeshire, including Lydstep, Pembroke Dock, Saundersfoot and Haverfordwest. We are seeking compassionate support workers eager for a fresh opportunity to join our team and make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
* Ensure physical and emotional needs of our people are met through a supportive and caring environment.
* Support individuals during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
* Promote independence, self-esteem and confidence, celebrating achievements and milestones.
* Work with the team to tailor support to meet individual needs.
* Keep accurate records of all activities, progress and incidents when they arise.
* General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
* Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, with the ability to adapt to individual needs.
* Willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
* Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
* Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
Requirements
Please note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
