Closing Date: Friday 25th July Location: Manchester or Nottingham (full-time) Contract: Permanent Recruitment Partner: Frankie McCallister-Lyas Overview: As our Affiliates Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role within the Performance Media team, joining us at a key time of accelerated growth and innovation in the Affiliate channel. This role goes beyond execution - offering the opportunity to shape and lead strategic initiatives that will drive meaningful growth across Boots UK's digital ecosystem. You’ll be trusted to identify opportunities, lead innovation, and influence senior stakeholders across marketing and commercial teams. Reporting into the Affiliates Manager and supported by an Affiliate Executive, you’ll take ownership of large-scale campaigns, lead partner relationships, and play a hands-on role in evolving the long-term strategy of the channel. A key part of the role will be nurturing and optimising our lower-funnel affiliate partnerships - including cashback, voucher, and incentive-led partners - to drive efficient performance and incremental sales. The Performance Media team sits within our Marketing department and is responsible for delivering high-impact paid media activity across channels including PPC, Affiliates, Display and Paid Social. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the end-to-end delivery and optimisation of affiliate campaigns, using data-driven insights to shape planning, execution and performance improvements across key trading categories. • Support budget management and forecasting for the Affiliate channel, helping to ensure investment aligns with commercial objectives and delivers measurable return on ad spend (ROAS). • Build and manage strong relationships with our affiliate network (Awin), high-performing partners (particularly lower-funnel affiliates such as cashback and voucher sites), and emerging tech providers to unlock incremental growth opportunities. • Support the long-term development of the channel, continuously identifying opportunities to innovate, test new models, and evolve the affiliate strategy in line with wider performance media goals. • Work collaboratively with another Affiliate Specialist and mentor the Affiliate Executives, providing day-to-day support, sharing best practices, and contributing to a high-performing and knowledgeable team. What you need to have: • Affiliate marketing experience with a proven ability to independently manage, scale, and innovate within complex or high-growth digital environments. • Confident in budget management and financial forecasting within marketing, with the ability to translate performance data into actionable business decisions. • Comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives and engaging confidently with senior internal stakeholders and commercial partners. • Strong analytical and commercial acumen – comfortable using performance data to build a case for investment and optimising towards clear KPIs. • An effective communicator and collaborator, capable of influencing others and driving progress in a fast-paced environment.
