Group Revenue Manager

Our Group Revenue Manager’s defining purpose is to maximise total revenue and profitability by strategically analysing data, market trends and competitor activity. They will lead the revenue team to ensure all distribution channels are working hard to support financial delivery, pricing to ensure we maximise opportunity remaining competitive and deliver robust and trusted business forecasting.


What you’ll be doing

* Optimising revenue and opportunity:
* Demand forecasting: Taking the lead in producing a group revenue forecast
* Pricing strategy: Agreeing that with the GDOSR rates are adjusted dynamically in response to demand, market conditions and guest booking patterns.
* Inventory and distribution management: Maximising occupancy and revenue performance ensuring all distribution and third-party channels have a planned approach and work hard for the business
* Performance reporting and analysis:
* Continuous performance improvement:
* Collaboration and performance: Ensuring the wider team are aware of challenges and the part they play in reducing risk and exceeding results.


What we are looking for

We need a seasoned professional to lead this team, someone who has lived and breathed Revenue management in the hotel sector for many years and can demonstrate exceptional leadership skills.

You’ll also need strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the team are cross trained to support this environment

You’ll have a solid understanding of systems and how to get the very best out of each. This includes reservations software, revenue forecasting, property management systems and pricing modules

You will be given the space, trust and support to own your own success and be committed to supporting the wider commercial team.

You’ll be an analytical / creative thinker with highly developed interpersonal skills allowing you to Interact with all stakeholders and customers
