This role is for a Systems Engineering Delivery Manager to lead multiple future capability projects.
Responsibilities
* The Systems Engineering Delivery Manager is responsible for:
o Leadership & Governance of multiple multi-functional teams
o Keeping the project on budget and budget control
o Mitigation / management of risks to lowest level possible
o Managing and owning the engineering resources
o Managing plans against progress / milestones
o Look for potential opportunities to benefit the projects
o Ensuring the technical and engineering aspects of the projects are delivered appropriately
o You’ll have a proven track record of actively leading successful project delivery on a diverse range of diverse, complex technology focused projects. Looking to make the next move in your career, your passion for keeping up with the latest technological innovation inspires multi-disciplinary teams to successfully conceive, create and implement solutions for clients.
o With experience in a client facing role, you’ll possess excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills. You’ll also be an accomplished subject matter expert within your profession, demonstrating a broad range of experience, including some of the following skill areas:

Qualifications
o A HNC / HND / FD or Bachelor's degree in an engineering subject
Essential Skills
o Engineering Management
o Project Management understanding (Critical path control, Risk understanding)
o Worked as an engineer on either Hardware, Software or Systems engineering.
o Full knowledge of 'V' lifecycle
o Leadership & Management
o Excellent communication skills at all levels
o Stakeholder Management
o Resource and Integrated Business Planning
Desired Skills
o Anti-Submarine Warfare (above & below surface) and Mine Countermeasures experience.
o In Service and Future
o Defence background.
o MOD experience
