Contracts Manager | Peterborough | Full Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm | £45,000–£55,000 DOE

Based in Peterborough with most work within a 60-mile radius, they pride themselves on challenging traditional approaches and delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Are you the right person for the job?
* Minimum 10 years’ industry experience and 2 years in a similar role
* Background in civil engineering, groundworks, or plant management (experience can substitute for formal qualifications)
* Strong practical skills with a willingness to learn
* Comfortable with systems, processes, data and efficiency tracking
* Excellent IT capability (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
* SMSTS (minimum), CSCS Managers Card, First Aid
* Full, clean driving licence
What will your role look like?
* 70% Contracts Management – Oversee project delivery, manage site processes, ensure compliance, drive programme, quality and commercial performance
* 30% Procurement – Material take-offs, coordinating suppliers, supporting procurement processes
* Manage projects typically ranging from £50k to £2.5m
* Lead site managers, supervisors, operatives and subcontractors
* Produce and update project programmes
* Oversee Health & Safety and environmental compliance, including HS&E audits
* Produce and update Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans
* Manage subcontractors and monitor performance
* Produce CVIs, RFIs and maintain variation/delay records
* Produce monthly progress reports for clients and Directors
* Work to tight deadlines, plan ahead and manage multiple priorities
